Editorial methodology
This site sells hemp-based products and publishes the documentation around them: a journal, a cannabinoid encyclopaedia and a glossary. This page describes how that content is produced, where its figures come from, what is automated and what never is.
Who publishes
Phytogrammes is the publisher of this site. Articles carry no individual byline: they are reviewed and published under the editorial responsibility of the company, whose identity and registered office appear in the legal notice. Content committing a named person would carry that signature; it does not here, and displaying one would be decoration.
Where the figures come from
Every quantified, legal or pharmacological statement links to its primary source in the text: Légifrance and EUR-Lex for law, the opinions of Anses, the ANSM and EFSA for health assessment, peer-reviewed journals for pharmacology. Competitor sites, blogs and commercial aggregators are never cited as sources.
The cannabinoid contents shown on product pages are not written: they come from the batch HPLC analysis report, produced by a third-party ISO 17025-accredited laboratory, and that report can be consulted on the page. No composition figure is written by hand, here or anywhere else.
What is automated, and what is not
Documentary research, first drafts and translation into English and Spanish are assisted by artificial-intelligence tools. We say so because it is true and because a reader is entitled to know it in order to judge what they read.
What automation never decides: laboratory data, which comes from the batch report; legal status, which comes from the official text cited; and publication itself, which remains a human editorial decision.
Before publication, each text passes automated checks that reject, among other things, a therapeutic claim, a missing source on a quantified statement, a figure lost between a French version and its translation, or a translation whose structure has diverged from the original. A text failing those checks is not published until it is corrected.
What the documentation covers
The Canna·wiki encyclopaedia holds 374 molecule entries and the hash glossary holds 14. The method specific to the encyclopaedia — sources per entry, structure identity checking, corrections — is detailed on its own page. The whole corpus is reviewed periodically; the last full review of the entries dates from .
What this documentation is not
This is not medical advice and does not replace a consultation. No content claims that a product treats, relieves or cures anything: the French framework forbids it and the available research would not support it either. Adults only.
Correcting an error
An error reported with its source is corrected, and the correction is dated in the content history. Encyclopaedia entries additionally carry a correction-proposal button, reviewed before publication.
