Cali mousse

In street slang, "cali mousse" refers to an airy, malleable hash sold under Californian aesthetics. Like "cali plate", the term describes a presentation, not a composition.

The advertised mousse-like texture — soft, airy, easy to work — can have very different origins: a good modern separation produces it naturally, but additives or mediocre material whipped with oils can imitate it. Texture alone is therefore neither proof of quality nor an indication of potency.

The "cali" vocabulary works as a self-awarded label: it borrows the prestige of the Californian market without importing its controls. In France, a parallel-market product offers by definition no traceability — no real variety, no analysis, no recourse.

The useful reflex is the same as for any resin: look for the batch certificate of analysis. Legal CBD or CBG hash displays one; a product that cannot produce one asks for an act of faith.
