Piattella

Piattella is a fine-fraction bubble hash refined cold under vacuum until it becomes a supple, homogeneous slab kept refrigerated. It is one of the most sought-after hash presentations today.

The name comes from Italian (piattella, "little flat plate"), but the method took shape in Barcelona workshops in the early 2020s: a full-melt grade ice-water hash, vacuum-sealed and cold-cured for weeks. The trichome gland walls slowly give way and the material fuses into a creamy slab, almost translucent at the edge.

Piattella therefore differs from traditionally pressed hash by what it does not undergo: neither heat nor strong mechanical pressure. All the refining is the work of time and cold, which explains both its price and its fragility — it keeps in the fridge, like a fresh product.

Our version measures 18.0% CBD by HPLC on a peppery, dry profile, Δ⁹-THC below 0.30%, with the certificate published batch by batch on the product page. Like every fine resin, it should be stored cold and away from light: piattella softens at room temperature and loses part of the aromatic fraction that its slow cold cure was meant to preserve.
