CBD flowers by 100 g: €0.99/g, but not the cheapest CBD

On 23 September 2026 we went through the 72 product pages of the CBD flowers category one at a time. On each page we noted three figures:

• the price listed at the 100 g tier, never a "from" price;
• the cannabidiol content given in the reference profile, along with its batch reference;
• the Δ⁹-THC from that same profile, which has to stay at or below 0.30%.

One division then gives the cost of a gram of CBD: the price per gram divided by the CBD content written as a decimal. For Carrot Cake, 0.99 ÷ 0.078 = €12.69. The result tells you how much you pay for each gram of the molecule you are actually buying.

We took the content from the reference profile and left aside the one in the product title; as of 18 October 2026, no laboratory certificate is published for these batches. The two figures sometimes differ from one page to the next, and our article on CBD content in flowers explains why.

The table shows the seven lowest prices, plus Orange Bud, which has the highest content of the five flowers listed at €1.70/g.

Per order, that comes to €99 for 100 g of Carrot Cake, €136 for any of the five flowers at €1.36/g, €150 for Skywalker Og and €170 for Orange Bud. The Δ⁹-THC shown is 0.2% for five of them and 0.3% for Carrot Cake, Purple Runtz and Skywalker Og. That 0.3% is rounded: their pages state a Δ⁹-THC "strictly below 0.3%", the limit set by the French order of 30 December 2021.

You pay by the gram of flower, yet the content almost doubles between the weakest and the strongest of these eight. Two divisions are enough to see it.

Carrot Cake costs €0.99 a gram and shows 7.8%, so 0.99 ÷ 0.078 = €12.69 per gram of CBD. Green Crack costs €1.36, which is 37% more, and shows 11.9%: 1.36 ÷ 0.119 = €11.43. Its lead in content is wider than its gap in price, which makes Green Crack the cheapest flower per gram of cannabidiol among the 34 with a 100 g tier.

The same sum also separates flowers sold at one price. Purple Runtz costs €1.36/g like Green Crack but shows 6.9%: 1.36 ÷ 0.069 = €19.71, which means paying 72% more for the same spend. Reaper Eye, at 7.7%, comes to €17.66. At the other end, Orange Bud carries the highest price in the table, €1.70/g, along with the highest content, 13.6%, and its €12.50 beats Carrot Cake.

Before comparing two flowers, then, divide each price per gram by its CBD content. Across these eight, one extra point of CBD weighs as much, per gram of cannabidiol, as a price cut of 7 to 13%.

Above this first group, the 100 g prices fall into a handful of bands.

At the top of the grid, a gram of CBD costs 5.47 ÷ 0.075 = €72.93, six times the Green Crack figure. One name can also cover two product pages: Reaper Eye is sold as batch PG-26-1974 at €1.36/g and as batch PG-26-5D6E at €5.47/g. Check the batch as well as the name.

For any single flower, the tier still moves the price the most. Between the 2 g price and the 100 g price, the listed drop ranges from 71% for Carrot Cake, €3.45 down to €0.99/g, to 80% for one of the Moonrocks, €12.95 down to €2.58/g. The price per gram ends up divided by 3.5 to 5. A discount worked out from the 2 g price does not make a sale, and our article on reference prices sets out the difference.

Half the catalogue stops at 50 g, and those flowers are not always the most expensive. Charlotte's Web, batch PG-26-F86A, was listed on 23 September 2026 at €1.44/g for 50 g, with 14.3% CBD. That gives 1.44 ÷ 0.143 = €10.07 per gram of cannabidiol, 12% below Green Crack at 100 g.

Two 50 g bags of this flower therefore cost less per gram of cannabidiol than 100 g of any flower in the table. The largest tier is sometimes beaten on the grid, so run the same sum on the 50 g flowers before you choose a size.

A hundred grams lasts several weeks, and a flower changes in that time. In a study published in 2024 in Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, flowers were kept for six months in the dark at 18 °C and 60% humidity, in three containers: an open tray, a closed plastic box and a brown glass bottle. The glass bottle kept the starting aroma profile best, though more of the acidic cannabinoids turned into their neutral forms in it. Our article on storing flowers gives the practical settings.

Content also varies between harvests. The figures here apply to the batches on sale on 23 September 2026; a new batch gets a new number and often a slightly different content. Buying in volume leaves the rules unchanged. Phytogrammes sells these flowers to adults only, and they are not food: on its CBD page, MILDECA, the French government drugs agency, notes that no CBD food is authorised in the European Union. The FAQ covers delivery and returns.
